Getting a 3D solid cone section flattened True size and shape

I have a curved piece of acrylic in a design that is a section of a cone with 2 holes in it (for a structure to pass through), I need to try and flatten it for CNC machining.

Anyone know how?

AutoCAD has a FLATTEN command that will created a D object from a 3D view (I.E.. SW Isometric).  Though this will not show the "true length" of the object.  Unfortunately AutoCAD does not have the functionality for this.

Autodesk Inventor is a product that does contain the functionality to show a curved object in its true shape.  You can download the free 30 day trial version from the following link:

To determine the true length of the object within AutoCAD, my suggestion would be to trace the arcs with a polyline.  Through the properties window, you can determine the actual true length of said arc.
