use WBLOCK command and select all the drawing by window or crossing window.

use a free service like DROPBOX or BOX.NET to share large files.

OP you could try tracking down the cuplrit this way. First, save the original in a safe place and save a copy (we will work with the copy). Open a new, clean file. Isolate the first layer. Copy just what's on that layer to the same location in the new file. Save it and check the filesize. If it's good, then go back to the copy and erase what you just copied. Next, isolate the next layer and repeat the process. Eventually you will find one layer's worth of objects that suddenly bloats the file size. You should be able to undo that and bypass that layer's objects and finish copying the rest over. Then start another new file and copy the objects from the problem layer's set to it. At least you will have isolated the set of objects that contains the ones that are causing the bloating. From there you can copy small groups of objects to the target file until you identify which object or objects is/are causing your issue.

If by some odd chance my nattering was useful -- that's great, glad to help. But if it actually solved your issue, then please mark my solution as accepted 🙂
