Fatal Error e61567ffh after recovery says no errors

Hello,

We are receiving a fatal error message for ALL of our drawing files with xref's attached, but only in this one project. 

FATAL ERROR: Unhandled Access Violation Reading 0xffffffff Exception at e61567ffh

This started Monday night (two days ago). I have tried to recover the drawings, some wont even open at all. I tried partial open with no success either. I went back to autosave files from dates when the files were working and .bak files as well but they will all open as fatal errors even after the recovery says no errors found. I went back to our server back-up files from last week and the same thing happens when I open them.

These files appear to be unopenable no matter what I try.

Are you running RECOVER on all the Xrefs first, then the top file? Required. Xrefs are otherwise not touched.

RECOVERALL command is another option.

Since first posting we moved the drawing folder where the xref's are pathed to. We then were able to open each file separately without the xref's. We identified two problem xref (.dwg) files.
