Recently there has been some discussion around external graphics card drives used with laptops and the AutoCAD software. I wanted to pose the question to the community to see if anyone has had experience with these devices and if so I have a few question please,
What did you think of overall operation?
Where they stable in 3D/rendering operations?
Is there a preferred brand and if so what may that or the model be?
Currently Autodesk does not have these devices listed as supported but with the recent discussion I was hoping to solicit a bit of information from anyone in our community that may have had experience with them to share with our teams for users where this is an option in their environment for day to day use. Any and all information is greatly appreciated. Thank you everyone for your consideration in this matter and I hope you all are having a great day.
I wanted to see if anyone has run into this or seen this before. Any and all information is greatly appreciated and welcomed. Thank you.
I haven't and am just responding to suggest that many of us have read the thread but couldn't comment. I have heard of this on macbook air on photoshop but not with a PC. Are there external PC graphics cards available?
never used an external graphiccard yet, but to answer the question if there exists something: >>>click<<<
