Excel Data Link in xref manager

Is there a way to NOT show the connections in the xref manager like the "classicxref" manager? I still need the connections and can get to them with the datalink manager.

We want to use the newer xref dialog but have drawings with hundreds of data links in them. We are using them to reference an excel spreadsheet to label property owner names on civil road plans.

Hi,

Swiching the Tree/List (F3/F4) view in the xref dialog box will help ?

In the Tree view you can expand/collapse the child items.

It makes no difference as all of the links are in the drawing as individual connections. The tree view doesn't have a separate branch to collapse.

Thanks though,

Looks like you need to use the 'classic' command.

Autodesk confirmed:

"There is no way to remove the saved path column from the Xref manager"

They had the same answer "use the classic manager" which is what I knew and was asking if there was a way to view the xrefs without the classic view.

Thanks
