We use E-transmit a lot, from services co-ordination to shop drawings for suppliers. As a rule we send just the dwg files and our plot style table and we launch the process from the Sheet set manager. It bugs me that each time I do a transmittal I have to go into the tranmsittal setup and uncheck the Include Options to stop it attaching templates and other nonessential junk.
For whatever reason Autocad doesn't seem to want to remember the settings for include options, even if I create a fresh transmittal stetup for that sheet set with the options unchecked.
Is this a bug or a feature?
Hi,

If you mean the "Standard" setup then I guess it's a feature. The purpose for ETRANSMIT is to transmit ALL data necessary to open the drawing and get it displayed (and plotted) correctly.
Removing the check by default will work against that rule.
But you should be able to create your own etransmit-setup, then with that setup the checkboxes should hold their settings.

I tried my own setup and it still forgets the include settings. I could live with the standard setup re-checking those options if the custom setups would remember the settings.
Does it save the etransmit settings on a drawing by drawing basis? If it does I suggest you change the settings in your template file.

I believe the etransmit settings are saved in the sheet set dst file -certainly new setups are.
Hi Giles,
I was able to reproduce this. When you uncheck the Include Options of a Transmittal Setup stored in a DST, and then close and reopen the Sheet Set, the Include Options revert back to the default choices (#2,3,4,6). But, if you check any new options, or all, they're stored.
Thank you for reporting this. We are aware of the issue and it is currently being researched by our development team.
