emailing 3d models

I am trying to email a 3d model I made in autocad, and email it to my professor with it rotating while in the email. I was wondering if by any way this is possible whether or not I have to get another program to do it or not?

I think GIFs will perform in emails but I could be wrong.  I thought I was wrong once before but I wasn't.

AFAIK ACAD won't do that.

Anyway, try  >>>this site<<< to make an animated GIF file then attach it along with your drawing in the email and the GIF should display at the opening of the email. Worth a shot.  Try sending it to yourself after you make it and see.

All i was able to do there was import PNG's of different angles and let them swicth from different slides, I couldn't make them rotate around.

Why can't your professor open the native file and rotate?

Here are a couple of ideas.

This one will take a little bit of work by your professor -

Save As DWFx - the professor will have to invoke the orbit.

or

This one takes minimal effort by professor, and I'm betting there is a way to eliminate all work -

Use Autodesk ScreenCast Recorder and send them a link in the email,

but I'll bet there is some clever way to Embed directly in the email
