Hi,
An architect sent me some drawings to work on, but when I try to open it a notification pops up and says "This drawing will display the message, "PRODUCED BY AN AUTODESK EDUCATIONAL PRODUCT."
How can I "fix it" to avoid this stamp on paper?
Regards!
I would not expect an Architect to use an Educational product.
This is not meant for commercial use, if it were me I would contact them & explain that you are not able to use the drawings for that reason.
I think I am correct in saying it is against Autodesk policy, apologies if that has changed & is no longer the case.
Report this violation of the EULA here
Do not put your company at risk by using this file.
Any attempt to remove the banner is a violation of the EULA.
Thanks,
but it's hard for me to find out who could possibly use an educational version because on the same file were working lot of people,.....architects, plumbing engineers, electrical engineers, etc. I'm the last in the row.
I would send them back to whoever sent them to you. They either used the educational version when they should not have or received them themselves &
ignored the stamp.
As described above, "someone" violated their license agreement, but inexplicably, Autodesk now permits users with AutoCAD2014 SP1 or newer to remove the EDU plotstamp. (scratches head... waits for price increase to offset decrease in "Commercial license" sales)

Just report who sent you the file - let the BSA do the investigation.
Meanwhile, what version of AutoCAD are you using?
Try downloading a trial of r2015 and see if that takes care of the problem.
Hi,
opening and saving the file in ACAD2015 solved the "problem" with annoying pop up notification on startup when using ACAD2013.........
