Editing Tags in Attributes Dialog Box

There is a way to change the text in a tag to include spaces without getting the error that tags cannot be null.  I've forgotten how to do this.  I can't find this in my AutoCAD manuals, or on-line.  Perhaps I've missed it?

If anyone can give the direction on including spaces in tags, I'd most appreciate it.
