DWG to PDF plotter

I have upgraded from 2009 to 2014 and am using a template created with 2009. When the drawing is plotted with DWG to PDF, the border corners are "hairy", i.e. there are small lines emitting from the radius. This happens with dots that were created for marking tables also. These  are the only two items that I have noticed this on. When plotted with Adobe PDF (XI) plotter, everything looks perfect. Is this due to the age of the template from version to version or an issue with the driver? Suggestions?

Here is a shot in the dark. Try setting PDMODE=0.
