try this post

http://forums.autodesk.com/t5/installation-licensing/trueview-download/m-p/3484544/highlight/true#M4...

if you have the latest version of True View you can convert the files to any version going backwards

you are welcome

the .net issue is a different one

you may find a solution to repair current .net (version) on google

i recall a utility you can download to fix

where support for XP has expired it may be more difficult

good luck

For future reference, if you open a dwg file using Notepad, the first 6 characters will identify the drawing file format  (your orignal file was AC1024)

AC1027 = AutoCAD 2013/2014/2015

AC1024 = AutoCAD 2010/2011/2012
AC1021 = AutoCAD 2007/2008/2009
AC1018 = AutoCAD 2004/2005/2006
AC1015 = AutoCAD 2000/2000i/2002
