Disable creation of dwl file in AutoCAD 2013

We are working on WAN and additional file creation/deletion decrease the responsiveness of AutoCAD. In previous version of AutoCAD (2007 or so), whohas command is in its own arx. But in 2013, it is compiled together inside acapp.crx. I could remove this crx but i lost some useful commands like scalelistediting and select similar. Is there any configuration to disable this?

Never in our company that anyone ever use whohas command, so the dwl and dwl2 is definitely useless. And these files is no longer use to lock the document

thanks for the reply, Patrice. I have AutoCAD, AutoCAD P&ID and MEP. But particularly interested in AutoCAD because our major work is done using that.
