Hi All,
is it possible to display in the x y or z values of a line referenced from another drawing in a field? perhaps it could reference a layer with only one oject in it?
I am currently designing all drainage culverts (3D) in 12d and exporting the 3D lines to one drawing file, bringing them into my master drawing file as a block and exploding into lines to enable the standard field options to read the z and length values. However when I rediesgn the the culverts I have to perform the hole process again...
It would be nice if the feild could just read the object in a particular layer of another drawing.
I am hoping there is a diesel expression written for this.
In lieu of that option, is there a lisp program that can swap or match the object ID of a line?
