Datalinking a excel spreedsheett

Need to specify a datalink path for excel spread sheet without going through the datalink pop up.

We have a bom program that exports an excel spread sheet to C:\temp\bom.xls.  I’m trying to create a lisp or script to bring this into AutoCAD through the table command.  Cannot figure out how to get the table command to  datalink to the file.

Any ideas?

You'll be more likely to get a better response if you post this over in the autolisp forum.

There's a greater concentration of people over there who understand autolisp.
