Crosshairs

Does anyone know how to get my crosshairs straight up and down after looking at this screenshot? I have tried the snapang command and set to zero, but it lines the crosshairs up with the ucs.
Thanks

It is set to world. I also have Carlson Survey software made by autodesk on my computer and it has a command called "resetxhairs" which works, but snapang doesn't seem to.

how about object, draw a straight line the way you want to see the cross hairs first then pick it as your object

I'm not sure you really want to do that. Changing the UCS can have some unexpected consequences.

Now it is saying "Viewport is view-locked. Switching to Paper space. Switching back to Model space."

Does this have something to do with typing is "UCS" then typing "view"?

no, it simply means that at some point you locked the viewport.  Ususally a good thing, so that zooming around will not trash your plottable sheet and leave an unexpected display in the viewport.
