Copy / Paste Problem

I created a new layout tab from the Page Setup Manager.  I cannot paste a Drawing Title from an existing layout tab to the new layout tab in the same drawing.  I can paste the drawing title to all previous existing layout tabs in the same drawing.  There's something wrong with the new layout tab.  All layers are on and unlocked.  I can paste text to the new layout tab, but not certain blocks and symbols.

There are no error messages, it just doesn't work...

Thank you,

Michael

Check to see that the Layer(s)  (including those that may exist inside the block) are not VP Frozen.

Thanks nestly2,

There are no frozen VP's.

Please see attached photos.

I copied the drawing title and text from existing layout tab, and you will see how it pasted in the new layout tab.

I can paste the drawing title and text in all other layout tabs except the new layout tab.

Are they annotative?

Make sure the light bulb above annotation visibility is on.

Not really sure what you mean by Drawing Title, I assume you mean title block?

Anyway, why don't you try right-clicking an existing layout tab and just doing a copy of a tab that works?  Then just update the new layout tab, delete viewports, text, etc.  Or you could just right-click on a tab and create a New Layout?

Thanks kcobabe!

That worked!

It was the annotation visibility.
