Copy Paste Distortion

Hi,

I am trying to copy/paste from one imported drawing to another.  (I want to copy from an imported DXF to my drawing with template/formatting/other information)  No 3D

But when I copy-it comes out completely distorted.  Why is this happening?

Sample of the original and distorted attached.

Thanks in advance.

Your Original.png appears to have the UCS set to World as indicated on the Viewcube.

In the Distorted file enter UCS @ command line.
Is it also Set to World?
If not set it to World.

Have you tried regenall? And what happends when you import directly to your template?

Otherwise, save the original as a drawing and insert it into your template using your "Insert Block" command and explode it afterwards

That just looks like your circles aren't round because you did not REGEN: nothing more dramatic than that.
What's your video card? It can't keep up that's why REGEN and REGENALL commands exist in AutoCAD, to help.
