We are providing files to a fabricator for their use. They have requested the drawing file, it is a 3D solid model AutoCAD 2013 file, be provided in .wcs format. Does anyone know how this can be done? I assume I need a piece of software to make the conversion but have not found one. Thanks
I know WCS as short cut for World-Coordinate-System, but I don't know a fileformat for dataexchange, so the question I have is: what software does your partner work with?
Or did your partner mean you should send the DWG and the model has to be designed in WCS (World-Coordinate-System) in oposite to UCS (any User-Coordinate-System)?

You'll probaqbly want to research their brand of milling machine and see what it can accept, or what you need to convert to. Unless the mfgr supplies a 'dwg to wcs' converter, I'ld expect that you'll need to do some twists to get there.
