In options I have the following checked:
This equals "Selectionpreview" set to "3"
On the commandline you can use the variable "commandpreview"
The default for on is "1" and off "0"
With all the previews set to "ON" if you try to select a secondary entity while in a command, sometimes you'll get a preview and sometimes you won't. I will use "MA" matchprop for my example.
I work in model space on drawings which are 500 inches in the "Y" axis and over 3,000 inches in the "X" axis.
This may have something to do with my dilema and let me know if it is.
I don't always like to zoom in to select objects.
Enter "MA" on the commandline and you'll be prompted to "Select source object:" when you move the cursor over the objects in your drawing you'll get a glow or highlight depending on your settings.
After you select your object it'll turn dashed so you know it's been selected as source and now the prompt is "Select destination object(s) or [Settings]:
When you move your mouse cursor over over objects to select, you don't receive a good preview, it's hard to tell if you've selected the object or not.
Exit the "MA" Matchprop command.
Now set the variable "commandpreview" to "0" zero (Off)
Try the "MA" Matchprop command again and look how the second object really intensifies when you move the cursor over it.
If you forget to turn the "commandpreview" back to "1" (ON) when you're done then, if you enter another command like "Fillet" when you go to select the second object, you'll get no preview of the fillet radius or chamfer line.
Seems like there's a conflict between "selectionpreview" and "commandpreview" on some operations.
Has anyone else in the community experienced this?
