CAN YOU USE 2 DIFFERENT SCALES ON A DRAWING IN PAPERSPACE??

Hi,

I'm trying to put together a detail in paperspace that i would like to scale at a larger size.  The main drawing is at 1:10 but i'm wondering if its possible to make my detail at 1:5.  Any ideas please???

I am using the function under the Layout tab.

Layout > Base > put your views down > detail

When you select the detailed item, the menu should change and one of the options says Edit View. Clicking that will allow you to change the scale. There should also be an option to display the scale value.

My co-worker does something with his viewports that doesn't make much sense to me.

Paperspace tabs allow the arrangement of viewports on a "sheet" , and each viewport can be whatever scale you want, and they all can be different depending on what you want. You select a viewport and change its scale on the scale list that pops up form below. Don't forget to lock your viewports once you get them set the scale you want.

If by some odd chance my nattering was useful -- that's great, glad to help. But if it actually solved your issue, then please mark my solution as accepted 🙂
