can't draw an object on front plane in autocad 2013

Hi friends , 

 

I am working on 3d project on autocad 2013

 

I draw some objects in top plane line a circle an all

 

i switched to front plane and tried to draw a circle there

but autocad is still drawing the circle in top plane.

 

 

any ideas how to make it draw on front plane ?

Using dynamic UCS won't work all the time. You need to change your UCS manually sometimes if you want to draw in a different view.

 

It depends on how you change your view. If you use the viewcube in the upper right corner of the drawing view, then the coordinate system will not change and you will still draw in a top view. If you, however change your view using the viewport controls in the upper left corner of the drawing view; the UCS will change along.

Otherwise you can always change the coordinate system manually by typing in the 'UCS' command followed by the name of the view.
