BLOCKS WITH "TEXT"

I am having a problem with text in blocks. Any text will mirror when I mirror the block.  We do a fair amount of mirrowing drawings so this can become a big chore.  We use a lot of block that have text that never changes, such as light switches, fire alarm devices, etc.

I did a search for the issue but didn't find any good resolution.

The closest was to change the text to be an attribute.  It did "work" but added key strokes to clear the edit attribute dialog for changing the attribute. And one cannot just hit return to exit, but must pick "OK" which takes even more time.

I tried to set the attribute to "constant" which eliminited the dialog and extra keystrokes and picking "OK", but the text started mirroring again.

I tried eliminiting the dialog and going directly to the command line mode (attdia = 0), while it did work, it still addes key strokes.  And I generally need to use the dialog.

There must be a simple "fix" to this issue - I sure hope!

Thanks

Trust all had a great Thanksgiving!

Hi,
Have you tried to assign default value to attribute (text you need to be displayed) and set attribute definition to "Preset" instead of "Constant"?
