Baseview Ribbon

I am having trouble with baseview in AutoCAD 2014. It used to be that when entering the baseview command  your ribbon would dynamically change to give the functions and features within the command.  Seemingly in 2014 this no longer happens.  I also find that after creating the view, I have inconsistant object snapping.  I get endpoints on some objects, but not on others.  Is there an update I am missing?  It worked so well in 2013, not sure why it is messing up now.  Any help would be appriciated.

I don't have a solution, but I can confirm that the contextual ribbon does not appear when placing the first view as it did in 2013.

That is exactly my issue.

Does anyone know if this is just an oversight that Autodesk is working feverishly to correct?  I am amazed that there haven't been more complaints about this, as the exclusion of the contextual ribbon for this function makes the process much more difficult.

Hi,

I did few tests on my machine and I cannot replicate the issue. Please follow the instructions on this video to unload and reload the Model Documentation ribbon. Please have a look on it and let me know:

Followed the video.  Still no change in the contectual ribbon.  My IT manager checked and we are up to date on service packs.

Reloading the modeldoc, cuix also did not work for me, however resetting modeldoc did (right-click menu).  I find this baffling because I don't recall ever editing the modeldoc cui, and I was unable to detect any differences between them.   <shrug>
