AutoCAD Raster Design Despecle Tool wont select speckles

I have the image set to 1-bit, but when using the Despeckle tool I cannot select any speckles. What could be wrong?

The despecle tool seems to work now but does not give the feedback it should, the speckles to be deleted do not turn red, and when pressing enter to finish command speckles do not disapear however when I zoom in and out after using the command the speckles will disapear the way they are supposed to. Ths seems like a bug and should be fixed.

They should disappear without using the zoom in and out tool.

Mine disappear without the zooming, but they are not highlighting as they should. This is with AutoCAD Design Suite 2016
of course you can always use the Undo command if too much of your image disappears, but that is a bit of a pain.
