I want to access the solid opened in AutoCAD from dwg file using C++ and Object ARX.

And you should be a little more specific what you like to do. "access" a geometry without knowing what you do with it then, also without knowing what "solid opened" should stay for .... I see the questions coming back to you :smileywink:

Hi Alfred,

 

I'm creating a Addin in C++ for AutoCAD using Object ARX.

 

I want to write a program which starts AutoCAD, then I will open my .dwg file.

Then some command defined by me will access the solid in it. I want to find no of Edges, Faces, etc.

thanx for the explanation, but sorry, again in the wrong forum (as this forum here is for plain AutoCAD, not for development based on ObjectARX).

I pointed in my first post the the forum you should have used for the question, anyway: use this link and recreate a thread with your description (or wait until a mod moves your post).
