Autocad 2015 xref binding is slow and locks up

I have 130 detail xref into a drawings and I wanted to bind them into the drawings as bind insert.

When I go to select the drawings to bind from the xref manager it freezes or lock my computer up for 2-3 minutes

And when is finally the drawings and I go to bind it locks up again.

If I switch to 2014 it works fine.

So there must be some system variable that I can change to speed this up.

figure this out. after hours of messing with settings. I turned off the hardware acceleration. and I could select and bind the xref..why would this have been the problem ????????????
