At my old job i was able to copy a keynote and the number will change to the next corresponding number. When I change to a new job they didnt have this feature in autocad and i was wondering how to create it myself.

otherwise there are a few free auto-numbering add-on programs you can get from the online AutoCAD Excahnge website, see which one works best for your needs.
the command was "CN" for copy next. I believe it was a lisp command. and you can select text with numbers and hit CN then it would act just like the copy multiple command but it would change the the text from 1 to 2,3,4,5 and so on.
