I noticed today that the new Layout Tab bar in AutoCAD 2015 has removed the capability to duplicate a layout by holding down the Ctrl key and dragging the layout to be copied. The 5-click-move-your-cursor-all-over-the-screen method is still there, but obviously the 1-click method was superior.

You could use this simple lisp routine as a temporary solution for the lost feature :
***************************************
(defun c:copylayout()
(vl-load-com)
(command "layout" "copy" "" )
)
**************************************
I mapped it to an easy shortcut in the acad.pgp and it's less painfull than the other five click solution.
Thanks, henry_golan. Definitely a lot better. I'm still hoping they re-add the click+drag back, though. It's a lot more intuitive to me that way.
By the way, why remap it in your .pgp file? I just did this:
(defun c:CL ()(vl-load-com)(command "layout" "copy" "" ) (princ))
No need to have it in both your .lsp and .pgp files.
nrz13: as i'm using a dvorak layout and i do lisp routine for others people at work I try to use generic command name because most of the command that I use doesnt make sense on a qwerty layout...
Ah, makes sense.
Thank you for the routines. Not being to bright on the programing of lisp or others my work around that works well is this.
Right click toolbars and go to Customize
Copy from commands "Layout, Copy" or "Layout,New Layout" for older versions and paste onto a toolbar of choice.
Expand the window and rename the icon to Layout, Copy
Change the command line to read ^C^C_layout;c;;;
This will copy the tab you have highlighted at the time and place it directly behind the tab you copy as opposed to sending it to the end or beginning of the tab list.
Hope this helps.
I also noticed I can't drag my layout tab into the sheet set manager anymore.
Wonder it that's related?
Thanks @LyleHardin, I was searching for confirmation on this, and now I've reported it also.
I suspect the two issues are _very_ related.
Reply from Autodesk Subscription Support regarding drag+drop layout tabs into the SSM (emphasis added by me)
Wow, that stinks.
But I have to admit, it is just as easy to right click on the tab and select “Import layout as sheet”.
Beware before you import that tab, you should highlight a subset or sheet in the SSM where you want the new sheet to go.
Due to the new layout tab placement it is no longer possible to drag/drop layouts into the Sheet Set Manager. This is as designed for the new version of the program....
Well thank you Autodesk for making yet another arbitrary cosmetic layout change that reduces user productivity.
Just in case people are still wondering about this, Service Pack 2 has restored the Ctrl Drag to copy and Drag into SSM features. Whoo Hoo!
Don't get too excited, fix one thing break another. After installing SP2 when you switch to a drawing and click on a tab, the tab changes order migrating usually to the end of the list. Autodesk assigned it a case number (10016402) and replicated the problem. The solution Autodesk provided is to use fewer layout tabs which doesn't fix anything it just makes it easier to put the tab back in place after it moves. After providing that "solution" they closed the case, so I wouldn't expect a fix until 2016 but if you are on Subscription please file a support request anyway to make sure that it DOES get fixed.
Ahhh - That explains my problem of tabs re-ordering. I've had tabs switch order with as few as 4 tabs.
Tim.Turner: Thanks for the case number.

I also submitted a report at the link below and suggest everyone else do the same so they are aware the bug is widespread:
