Autocad 2015 Change line type of a hatch pattern

In autocad 2014 and previouse versions it was possible to change the line type of the lines inside of a hatch i.e take ANSI33 and change the lines from continues and darshed to dots. This was done by clicking the hatch and changing the line type in properties.

In autocad 2015 this is no longer possible selecting the hatch lines and changing the line type does nothing.

Please could you advise if this is on purpose or a potential bug and if there is a work around or fix for this.

And what happens when the hatch is within a block?
In this case the hatch is not with the line type chosen (dots, hidden ...)

what can we do?
