AutoCAD 2015 0xc0000142 Error.

Dear people,

I've problems with opening autocad 2015.

When I start the application it gives the following error: 0xc0000142.

I've seen a few topics on the websites, and tried all the solutions that people posted.

Unfortunatlly it still doesn't work.

Can someone please help me?

Can you list them (by hyperlinking or with a few words) what you tried? Because we don't know what you have found and so we don't know what you might have missed.

Thanks for your help.

First I removed all the Adobe software from my computer, and reinstalled Autocad 2015.

That was not working.

After that I switched of my McAfee anti virus programm.

When this was not working I followd the steps form this website:

After I did all of this I runned out of idees.

From the "upandready"-site ... have you read the comments too?

From the link I provided in my post, have you tried the C++ uninstall/reinstall approach?

I read the comments from the "upandready"-site, but I dind't uninstall/reinstall the C++

I'll give that a try when I come home tonight and let you know if it worked out.

I only had the sitution with Adobe Acrobat in one case, I have read some threads here and the "upandready.." blog, if you also read that I have no other idea then

• let the dll's disabled you found with the AutoRuns app
• do a clean uninstall of AutoCAD
• reinstall it with a new user account, this user account should have full admin permissions, UAC off, antivirus off and promise your workstation a coffee or so

Sorry if that is not helpful, but that's what I would do now in your situation.
