I lost the ribbon in autocad 2014 how do i get it back?

Often you can just switch to a different workspace, then switch back.  Otherwise try RIBBON at the Command line

I tried RIBBON at the command line but it didn't work. I will try the
different workspace idea but I think I have already tried that too.

It might not be gone but just undocked or minimised.If the ribbon tab titles (home, insert, annotate, etc...) are still visible you can double click on them and the ribobn will enlarge again.. Otherwise check your screen for a floating palette that doesnt belong. Maybe post a screenshot?
