Autocad 2014 problem when undoing to prevent file overflow

Hi there,

It's been 2-3 weeks i've been receiving this msg, it happens to me atleast 2-3 times a day.
Depending on how much i'm doing at work.

The message is (Check printscreen) :

Autocad Message

Warning! Undo has been disabled in order to prevent undo file overflow. You may re-enable it via the undo command.

The undoe file length was 1756916957 bytes.

I don't really know what caused this to happen, cause i didnt had this message before.

Each time it happens i need to close and open my Autocad 2014 again to purge the memory.

Anyone has a clue what to do with this ?

One of many topics about it in the Civil forum, explore more there: http://forums.autodesk.com/t5/AutoCAD-Civil-3D-General/2013-hunderds-of-group-commands-in-undo/m-p/4...

Hi there pendean !

I did spend a little time on reading what was posted on that thread.

Me too i have a lot of group commands that pile up into my Undo list.

But there's no solution or cause that is pointed in the thread.

Since the problem is predominantly in the Civil forum, that's the place to ask and see help: if there is no solution yet then sadly there will be no solution anywhere else.

Post and ask your Civil peers, in the Civil 3D forum, how they get around it since I'm sure you're not the only one suffering. While you wait here of course.
