I have the Autodesk Product Design Suite 2014 and attempted to install SP1 and got an error that AutoCAD 2014 was not found on my system.

Hello Volker,

Would you happen to know when SP1 for AutoCAD Mechanical 2014 will be out?

Thanks,

Steve

AutoCAD vanilla may or may not have been installed with the Suite -- take a look in Control Panel /  Programs and Features and see if it actually was installed as a separate program.

No. I have AutoCAD Mechanical 2014 installed. That's why I asked about a SP1 for Mechanical.
If I try to install the AutoCAD 2014 SP1 it will tell me it will not install because it is not for my product.
Just curious when the SP1 for Mechanical 2014 will come out

Interesting, it was not installed as a seperate program.
It is listed in the start menu as a seperate program and I have an icon for vanilla on my desktop, does this mean that it runs only as a profile within Mechanical? I was able to switch to vanilla that way (through the options/profiles menu) it never occured to me that it was not a standalone program.

Thanks, I guess that I will wait for the Mechanical SP.

Matt
