Hi,

When you go into the pagesetup of this layout, what option for "Plot area" is set to be used for plotting, I guess you have set it to Window and not defined the correct window-rectangle? What happens if you set it to "Extents" or "Layout"?

Hi,

AutoCAD for Mac 2013 also could not open your file, furthermore, after attempt to open this file AC for Mac crashes with CER when I close (quit) it.

When I try to open your file in AutoCAD 2012 for Mac I get a lot of alerts:

First:

Screen Shot 2013-05-09 at 9.23.54.png

Second:

Screen Shot 2013-05-09 at 9.24.06.png

Third:

Screen Shot 2013-05-09 at 9.24.17.png

But then AC for Mac 2012 can open the file.

There is definitely something wrong with the file structure. I deleted the layout tab and deleted the contents in model space and I still get an error message when opening the file.

Attached is a file created in AE2013 by copying the model space contents from AE2014 and pasting into AE2013. Hopefully you can open it.

Hi,

>> The layout tab page setup shows this:

please click onto "Modify" in that dialog to come to the pagesetup-details for the layout, that holds the info I asked for. Sorry that I was not clear enough.

Alfred,

I modified the layout tab to plot a PDF file and selected extents. See image below.
