Every info you can give more than "it crashes" will result in more efficient way for handling that.

Turn off Win7's AERO Theme and use only the Windows Basic Theme: this fixes most random crashes for most users.
As for "not responding", that usually (not always) means the PC in question is too busy with something else (or something is scanning AutoCAD forcing it to pause). Can't tell what an easy fix for that is... .
