Good Morning,
I am a vb.net developer with no knowledge of autocad (we are using 2014). I was assigned a task to take window dimensions from our front end erp package and pass them into values in a drawing template, regenerate and save as dwg file. All the examples i find are for including a vb.net dll inside autocad. This is not what i want to do. I want a standalone vb.net application (2010) that runs periodically, grabs new data processes thru autocad and sends a dwg to a network folder. I am looking for somewhere to start. Does anyone know were i can find some documentation that would be helpful.
Second question, for this type of project do i need to buy a running version of autocad just for vb.net to access and should it be a network version?. (obviously we already have copies for our drafters)
Any help would be appreciated...
Thanks.
