App Crash AutoCAD 2014 after Network Deployment

Smiley HappyHi Guys,

I’m having a problems running AutoCAD 2014 after been deployed by GPO.

I have downloaded the Autodesk_ME_NetworkAdminGuide_enu.pdf and followed the instructions, everything seems to install fine on workstation but on running the AutoCAD I get a Windows error message.

I have used the AutoCAD 2014 Create Deployment tool 4x times now and I still get the same problem.

Hi,

welcome @forums.autodesk.com!

What OS do you have?

Had you disabled antivirus software while installation is active?

Had you full admin-permissions when installer started?

Have you installed the servicepack for AutoCAD also?

Can you upload the log file that is created after installation on a workstation from the deployment package?

Also one important point: when exactly does AutoCAD crash, and did it never start, do you have a network license or a local one, did you finish the activation process (if it's a local license)?

Hi Dean,

I have tried reinstalling it via GPO but it just does the same.

If i run the installer manually on a workstation it works but ask for a license as it should.
