Annotative Text copy paste issues....

Copy paste from modelspace to modelspace.

Annotation scale in modelspace set to the same scale in both drawings.

Annotative text scale of the text verified that it matches the annotation scale.

Appears correctly in drawing that copying from.

Disappears in drawing that copied to UNLESS show annotative scales for all objects is selected.

Shut down & reboot etc don't fix the problem.

Any Ideas?

I don't typically use "attach" command....

Is there anyway to use this without importing the entire drawing that I'm trying to copy/paste a few lines from?

OK. Tried something else.

Copy pasted text from the opposite direction with similar issues.

Meaning, I copy pasted text from the drawing I was originally trying to copy paste to, into the original drawing I was trying to copy paste from. The only way I could see the text was to select the view all annotative scales, even though it shows up as the correct scale when inserted.

Someone please correct me if I'm wrong, but, certainly I should be able to copy annotative text at x scale back and forth between drawings and maintain its visibility at the scale it was created at, correct?

Are there any known bugs regarding this?

If not, then there must be some global setting to the drawings that are different but I can't figure out what it could be.....

Figured it out for anyone that's interested.

Somehow I had two different scales listed in my drop down scale list....

1-1/2" = 1'-0" & 1 1/2" = 1'-0"

It was a subtle enough difference that I wasn't picking up on the fact that I was actually selecting two different annotative scales- thus the problem.
