I am tring to automate a 3 Point Circle command so that when I run it, it automatcially starts a 3 point circle, but for the 3 points it automatically sets tan snap for the first prompt, end snap for the second prompt and then tan snap for the third prompt.
Is there a way to do this in a macro for the Circle, 3 Points command or could it possibly be done in an action?
I tried to set up an action using 'osmode before the point prompts but when it runs, it doesn't actually switch from tan to end and back, it just stays on tan for the whole action. I have attatched a screen shot of my action.

That Macro recorder has always intrigued me and dissappointed me.
If you use the Tool Palettes, it's quite simple to do what you want.
Try using this for a command in a tool palette. Maybe in your Command Tool Samples palette.
^C^C_circle 3p tan \endp \tan
It worked for me. See below for the entire custom palette tool.
With the palette, you can even specify the layer it goes on.
I modified the Circle, 3 Point command on my partial cutsomization file using your macro so that I can use it as a button on the ribbon and it works beautifully. Thank you so much. Kudos given.
You're very welcome!
Good idea, just customizing your ribbon's command.
I didn't know if you hade a partial cui or not. Kudos back at ya!
