ACAD 2015 locks up when changing dimension style

I open an old drawing in 2015, go to the annotate tab, hit the drop down to change the dimension style and the program locks.  I tried it in 2014 and 2013 and it works correctly there. Two people have the same issue (NLM server edition if this matters).

Only way to clear it up is to start task manager and kill the process.

can't replicate here: does this happen in ALL files, including if you start a blank new file?
Did you trigger the migration feature when you installed or ran 2015?

The person that found it says it is a Big Font issue on our old drawings and he found this hotfix that solved the problem:

I like to use the handletter fonts so most of our old drawings have it and out DWT template file uses them.
