2d prints from 3d models

3D solid modeling in model space,

2d viewports in paper.

when plotting, getting color as defined by hlsettings, but not all the line are the correct linetype.

can someone look at file and see if problem is obvious?

not all the hidden lines show, or object lines dont show.

cheated, by assigning linetype to the color used for hidden lines in a ctb.

this is done on acad2004 in windows xp sp3

perhaps a later version will have better results?

would my video drivers affect this? (panning in paper space almost always leads to crash)

attached is cad file and resulting pdf's

Activate the problem viewport and choose a standard visual style rather than "custom".  I don't have 2004 so I can't remember the features but recent versions have viewport controls in the corner of each viewport.  You should be able to use the visualstyles command.

VISUALSTYLES not a recognized command.

I dont see the other options.
