We have on set of 2014 running and he has an issue when he draws a line the snap points stay shown is there an option to turn them off?

No the snap point that show on the line.

the end points and mid point when he draws a new line they show and stay shown.

Here is a picture from 2012 the only thing I have to select my line for them to show he does not have to select the line they just stay shown.

remember his line is not picked so he has a solid line..

Could the blue boxes be Geometric Constraints (shown below), rather than Grips (shown in your image)

Could be not sure he is gone for the day is there an option to turn them off?

I work with Inventor I have not messed with Autocad in about 8 years..

Assuming they are constraints, there is a toggle on the Status bar (INFER CONSTRAINTS) that controls whether constraints are automatically added as to new geometry..  Once they're already in the drawing, you can use DELCONSTRAINT > ALL  from the command line, or from the Parametric tab on the Ribbon to get rid of them.

Well when I click that nothing happen so I drew another line horizontal and the constraint horizontal showed but not the blue boxes. So not sure if it is it or not.

They disappeared after he turn NODE off in the snap settings. And now we can't get them to show again.

Must be a fly by bug LOL.

Well if it happens again I will post new findings.

Thank you all for the help..
