Exporting to .stl file

hi everyone, i'm having issues exporting this file i've attached to an .stl file in autocad 2015 on my mac. I go to File-->Export and then select .stl format in the file menu however nothing seems to happen after I click ok. Does anyone know how to properly export the file ...i've attached it to this thread thanks

Only 3dSOLID will be STLOUT

why does it give me an option to export the file as .stl? I'm confused

The option is always there, if the objects are not 3d then it will tell you.

What do you see in the command line after export to .STL?

None of the 5261 objects were Solids.

Can you attach your *.dwg file here?  Maybe someone can fix it for you.

i don't get it, I modify mesh to convert image to smooth solid and still nothing : ( I don't know why this is so difficult to convert to .stl from autocad. very frustrating : ( Select solids or watertight meshes: 0 Specify opposite corner: *Cancel* 0 found Select solids or watertight meshes: *Cancel* Command: Mesh conversion set to: Smooth and optimized. Window Lasso Press Spacebar to cycle options5261 found Select objects: 5261 objects cannot be converted. Command: Command: Command: _export Window Lasso Press Spacebar to cycle options3466 found Window Lasso Press Spacebar to cycle options5261 found (3466 duplicate), 5261 total Select solids or watertight meshes: Selected objects must be solids or watertight meshes. 5261 objects removed from the selection set.

Send .obj to JD, he has all the knowledge with Inventor, he'll show you how to get .stl from that.

Zip it if you have to.

File attaching here has size limit.

then you can stlout.
