XREF partially faded?

Hello,

I have xref'd a dwg into a blank template and only certain lines can be adjusted for fade. Some lines are completely unfaded and cannot be adjusted while the others around and connected to them adjust fine.

Non-faded lines are not overlapping in original.

Lines on same layer are both adjustable and non adjustable.

Dwg plots correctly.

See picture.

Any help is appreciated.

Hi,

i have checked it and it's OK. i do not think the xref is the problem

try to xref it into a new drawing, does it look good?

if it's good? then create your host file again

Moshe

My AutoCad has been updated to Map3D 2014 and the problem has disappeared.

I had tried both the suggestions with no luck but could work with the dwg without any problems other then the visual aspect.

I'm glad it disapeared, but as a fix, the WHIPARC system variable will control that.  the unfaded elements are arcs, not lines, and depending on the graphics adaptor and driver, may not fade properly.  I'm running 2014 c3d here, and have that same display issue cropping up.

Conmpany dell pos pc, so naturally,  everything is uncertified/unsupported
