Why am I not able to edit or delete dimensions from a viewport?

I'm not sure if I did something, or what? Take a look. This is a screengrab. I can't seem to remove dimensions from the viewport:

They don't show in the model space, but print on paper.

I first noticed that the large dimension was not correct and thus wanted to remove it.

So the question is, how can I remove them? I'm using Autocad 2012.

PS. I tried REGEN command but it didn't do anything.

It appears the dimensions are in Paperspace, not in the viewport.  On the Layout Tab, toggle into Paperspace by clicking the word "Model" right in the middle of the Statusbar.  When it changes to "Paper" you'll be able to select (and erase) any objects in Paperspace

Oops. That's embarrassing...

Thanks! I bet you're so tired of solving newbie issues like that 🙂

Almost 4 years later and I too made the same mistake.

Really embarrassing
