Way to create user friendly input window to change dimensions in autocad 2010??

Hello,

I am trying to figure out a way to simplify a design process.  Is it possible to create a pop-up window where a user can input certain dimensions and it will change the dimensions of the shape?? For instance, take a rectangle.  Is it possible for someone to open up the document, click on a pop up window, enter in the new dimensions, lets say length and width, and have it automatically change its dimensions???

An extension of that,

I understand you can go from autocad to excel. But can you go from excel to autocad?? If certain values are created in excel, can those values become the dimensions of certain parts of the autocad drawing automatically??

Thanks,

Ben

It's a one way street. There isn't a way yet to modify Excel and AutoCAD can update the drawing.
