visual styles problem

Every time I change the visual style in my drawing to something like shaded or realistic, the model in my screen updates. But when i try to print/plot it, it always comes out as 3d hidden. Does anyone know why? Below are two images. The first shows the model after i apply a visual style. The second shows the model when i try to print it. It always goes back to 3d hidden.

select your viewport, look to the property window and verify the setting for "Shade Plot"!
