Vector Plots Raster does not to PDF

AutoCAD 2010 Windows 7 64bit when background publishing or plotting drawings with vector and raster to PDF only the vector prints. If I plot or publish in the foreground it comes out fine.

Thanks

Hi,

How much memory have you built in in your system?

What PDF driver did you use (and have you used another one?

How big are the raster files you have attached?

RAM 8.00 GB

I have used the AutoCAD pdfplot10.hdi 1.1 10.0.309.0

I have also used gdiplo10.hdi 10.hdi 1.1 10.0.309.0 with PDF Factory PDF ServerEdition 3.53

Raster TIF around 100KB

Prints fine in foreground. Prints Vector only in background.

Hi,

when you run _PUBLISH, does the output to DWF show the same issue?

If so, can you upload one drawing with it's raster file(s)?

I've never been impressed with the reliability of background printing.  Since it's trivial to open a new session of Acad and publish from there, I've completely turned off background publishing and plotting.

I figured it out. I had set the Demand load ObjectArx apps to COMMAND INVOKE because I was having issues publishing some AcadElec drawings. If it is not set to OBJECT DETECT it does not know to invoke the raster modules when running in background.
