a user at a company that is doing work for us is is using AutoCAD 2012 LT and can't open a drawing that I saved in AutoCAD 2010. Any ideas on this one?
I am in the middle of finding out what the exact problem the user is having. Another user at the same company used AutoCAD LT 2014 and can open it. My first thought is that the file is 28MB and the user might not have a computer that can handle that file size. . .will post when I get more info. . .

OS?
If the file was received from someone using Microstation, my first thought about a 28 MB file is that it is polluted with DGN linetypes. There is a hotfix for that.

If not, the file may be corrupt. Try to have the user open it using RECOVER rather than OPEN.
