Update 2 was not released until May 30, 2011. The previous posting to your question in this thread was May 2, 2011.

How come when you install Autocad and you want to include the update during installation it downloads Update 1.1 and not Update 2 which is the latest one.

Update 2 does not include all the updates, so 1.1 has to be installed first. I don't know why 2 couldn't have been a complete standalone Update, but it's not.

 

I'm also curious why there's no pinned topic about Update2 like this one for Update1.1, or at least why the title of this topic hasn't been edited to reflect that 1.1 isn't the most recent patch?

Yes, they could at least tell you that Update 2 is the more recent one and let you know that you should install 1.1 first. There might be people out there that might not know that there is an Update 2.
